About Us

Cub Scout Pack 404, based in Round Rock, Texas, has been proudly serving the Forest Creek community for nearly 30 years! We are chartered by the Forest Creek HOA and are part of the Chisholm Trail District in the Capital Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Our Pack primarily supports Forest Creek Elementary, Dearing Elementary, and other surrounding schools in the area. The Capital Area Council provides a wealth of opportunities for our Scouts, including day camps, resident camps, and special events throughout the year.

Pack 404 is a Family Pack, meaning both boys and girls can join in the fun and adventure of Cub Scouting. We meet once a month as a Pack for a large group gathering, and twice a month in smaller dens based on grade level. In addition to meetings, we host at least one Pack-wide activity every month — and while our Scouting year aligns with the school year, we also offer a few exciting activities during the summer to keep the fun going!

We take pride in being an active, community-focused Pack. Our program combines outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and service to others. Some of our most popular activities include:

Pinewood Derby car races

Fall and Spring campouts at local parks

Model Rocket Launch Day

Community service projects

Hikes, field trips, and STEM activities

Summertime pool party and outdoor games

Our Pack also participates in local events such as the Round Rock 4th of July Parade, neighborhood service days, and other Forest Creek community celebrations.

One of the biggest strengths of Pack 404 is our family involvement. Parents, guardians, and siblings are encouraged to participate in all activities — from camping under the stars to building derby cars. The support and enthusiasm of our families make the Scouting experience richer for every child, creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime.

Whether your Scout is roasting marshmallows at a campfire, earning their next rank badge, or giving back to the community, Pack 404 is all about fun with a purpose — helping kids grow into confident, capable young people.
